THE HUMAN PESTS

heavy traffic congestion in a busy city street

We cannot grow food nor sustain ourselves in the lands of concretes and cars. All the energies are dissipating into various places. The car-centric model is sterile, dead, and lifeless. It is a sad reflections of our values and habits.

“None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who believe that they are free.”—Wolfgang von Goethe.

How is it that people who are stuck inside their cars all day long in traffics with insurance, gas, maintenance, and car payments considered themselves to be free? We have been sold a lie. The demons are leading us into our total destructions with the car-focused environment that they’ve created.

Where are the people? The first thing we see when we step outside our houses are rows of cars lined up on the streets. A city is a place where people live and work—not a storage facilities or thoroughfare for cars. The spirits and souls of the land have been decimated for the privileged car users. This is not the right way to develop a well functioning and healthy society.

The Earth is a living organism. Like everyone living things, it is concerned with maintaining balance and equilibrium. We cannot continued to destroy the habitats of other living beings on Earth and continued to get away with it. The car centric design is hostile and deadly to all living things on Earth.

All living organisms’ main concern is self preservation.  The Earth will shake us off as flees if we continued to disturb its ecological balance. What we do to the land will backfired on us. We must treat all living organisms with respects—or the Earth and the land spirits will annihilate us like we do with the flees, insects, mosquitoes, and the pests.
